Starting at 9 AM or 3 PM, you'll be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point and taken on a walking tour of a local market. The market is bustling with vendors selling fresh produce, exotic spices, and unique ingredients that you may not have seen before. This is a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture and learn about the people's daily life in Hanoi. Don't worry if you're not an expert shopper; your guide will help you navigate the market and even encourage you to try local delicacies. Once you've gathered all the ingredients, you'll head to a local home for a cooking class led by a professional cook. Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll learn how to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes such as BBQ pork with noodles and fish sauce, fried spring rolls, green papaya salad with dried beef, and Vietnamese egg coffee. If you're a vegetarian, don't worry; a special menu includes tofu in tomato sauce and eggplant with ginger sauce.
